1. Is whitening the teeth harmful?

Recent scientific research by the University of Leuven has shown that where the teeth are normal and healthy there are no demonstrably adverse effects on the tooth enamel.

Furthermore,  Revolution Whitening™ ensures a precise level of dosing that meets legal requirements.

2. Can everyone have their teeth whitened?

No, not everyone. People that at a young age have used medicines such as tetracycline are not eligible for the treatment. Also any discoloration resulting from decalcification such as excessive use of fluorides and porous teeth will have little result from the treatment. People born with grey teeth will likewise gain little benefit from the treatment.

However, it may be assumed that Revolution Whitening™ will have its effect for 90% of users, though it is advisable for the teeth to be in order and without cavities.

3. What is the teeth whitening process?

Teeth Whitening is actually a bleaching process that lightens discolorations of tooth enamel. This process uses an effective whitening gel ( Unique) retained in a Revolution Whitening™ mouthpiece that is worn over your teeth for 20 minutes and as many times after that until you have reached your desired level of whitening. Enclosed are accessories and instructions for use. 

4. How does bleaching remove tooth discoloration?

Cosmetic bleaching systems will remove most stains with a gentle action that whitens your teeth. As the active ingredient in the gel (hydrogen peroxide), is broken down, the U.V. light and the warmth acts upon the stained organic deposits, which oxidizes them into a white color. This process makes the overall tooth color closer to its natural unstained color. Your tooth structure remains unchanged. Years of clinical tests have demonstrated the safety and effectiveness of this system. Over 90% of people treated achieve some level of tooth whitening. Crowns, bridges and fillings do not lighten with dental bleaching.

5. Is this whitening process permanent?

For most people, the treatment will last for about a year. Your teeth have become discolored in the first place from consuming foods and beverages. Upon the completion of your initial bleaching process, your teeth are restored to their natural white color. Exposure to foods, drinks (especially coffee, colas and red wines), smoking and other consumables will gradually darken teeth again over time. You may want to periodically bleach your teeth. After an initial treatment, most people do touchups about once every month.

6. How many sessions do I get when I purchase a dental bleaching Kit?

You get 1 pre-filled mouthpiece for 1 treatment to complete your whitening process. In case you want to maintain the achieved result you can buy the refills separately

Revolution Whitening™ is the first company that uses a special mouthpiece (patented) with our new whitening gel that results in a perfect fit towards the teeth and does not leak into the mouth like many other products. It comes all pre-sealed in a vacuum pouch ready for the customer to open and place in there mouth. We do not re-use mouthpieces and re-fill them, they are all thrown away after use, so there is no cross contamination.

8. What causes tooth discoloration?

There are many causes. The most common include consumption of foods, coffee, tea, wine, and smoking. In other words, our teeth naturally get more and more stained as time goes on and we continue to live our lives. NOTE - Tetracycline discoloration and artificial dental work are usually not responsive to dental bleaching.

9. Who may benefit from tooth whitening?

Almost everyone. However, there are some cases where treatment may not be effective. Tooth whitening is ideal for patients who have healthy teeth and would like a whiter, brighter smile. If a client has any sign of gum disease, cracked teeth,  filings, root canals, bridges, bonding materials, crowns, veneers etc., they should first be examined by a dentist to determine if cosmetic whitening is appropriate.

10. Is it safe to bleach my teeth?

Yes, Revolution Whitening™ is specially designed to be an easy-to-use system with detailed instructions. Over a decade of research and a late study by the university of Leuven indicates that whitening teeth is absolute safe.

11. How long does the bleaching process take?

Results are depending on individual characteristics of each person. Like age and the grade of discoloration but most people usually see results after the first treatment by leaving the tray for 20 minutes in the mouth even if the tanning period is only 10 minutes. Optimal results are achieved after the 5 to 12 treatments depending on personal parameters as described above.

12. Are there any side effects?

Some people may feel a little tingling sensation on the gum ,this is over as soon as you brush your teeth . NOTE - Pregnant or nursing women should not engage in dental bleaching.
